"From the first time I went to this restaurant I loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant and suggest that if you go on the weekends make a reservation or prepare to wait, it's a popular little place."

"I tried many different kind of dishes, and one of my favorite is the lobster with black bean! It was the best! First time I went there was really hard, because I couldn't pick the right food to eat... as I went there more often, I tried many food and all of them are delicious but the black bean lobster was the best! "Although it has a rather simple decor and atmosphere, this the kind of place that the locals in Chinatown eat at. Much of the walls are covered in posters and signs hand-written in Chinese with the latest or most popular seasonal specials, but they also offer bilingual (English/French) menus, with over 200 items on it! This place can be extremely busy during dinner or after theater/movie hours, so it's a good idea to have a reservation if you have a group larger than 4 people. I've been a repeat customer for over 12 years and consistently bring friends from out of town to try it out and they always find something they would like to try out on the menu. All have said they would gladly eat there again! It's a good idea to order some tea, as you will receive an entire pot, and they will gladly refill it during the evening if you'd like. With one large group of friends, I even brought several herbal teas of my own (since some of my friends don't care for chinese tea), and they gladly provided teapots for them and kept them filled with hot water. What an excellent bit of customer service and a thoughful touch. Guests are offered either fortune cookies or fresh-cut orange slices after their meal, depending on the season. Our favorite waiters are Johnny and George. Chef #1 is Mr. Lo. If possible, don't go on Thursday as Mr. Lo's usually not there and the dishes don't quite taste the same -- but are stil quite decent, but not as good as Mr. Lo's touch! You can always call and ask if his schedule is the same... Excellent quality and quantity of food to price ratio, especially compared to similar restarants in Chinatown. Overall, my recommendation is that you come here for the food, not the decor, but you will often find it filled with Chinatown locals, so you know this is the real thing! It's also open often 'till 2am, so it's great for those late night munchies!"

"Beijing offers some of Montreal's best Chinese food at a reasonable price. Packed full of regulars and first timers Beijing's menu will satisfy everybody, better yet you can always ask for that 'special dish' and they will come through."

"A pleasant experience of Beijing style Chinese food. Nicely present dishes. Comfortable service. Good quality-price ratio. But, delivery is slow when almost full. Recommended and suitable for a return visit. "
